How do we recognize a True Guru or Master?
What is a True guru or master?
He is humble (not subservient) and always disposed to learn something new, because mental reticence or being fixed to a specific system of belief or thinking creates a dependency, simulating an alleged security but restricting at the same time the spiritual freedom in all its respects.
What is humility?
What is the opposite of humility?
He does not let deify himself and, he would never glorify himself because he knows we are absolutely equal and he wants you to love yourself even without the love, the encouragement and the gifts of other people.
He doesn’t butter you up with his ideals because you should find out by yourself what are the maximum and most desirable for you and then gain your experiences.
He continuously emanates self-love and charity!
You can’t hear his love with your ears, or read it with your eyes, but you can feel it because it comes from the purest heart.
And, it is precisely this authentic charity, this True love of neighbor constituting the condition for positive spiritual work that prohibits him to materially enrich himself from you!
He doesn’t sell his knowledge, no, he would never do it, even if he were without a job!
He is a tool, not a masterpiece, and the latter will be created by him being a tool guided and directed by superior forces.
He’s only striving to be a useful tool for the pure and True, a tool of creation and nature – but unrestraint sexual abuses are extraneous to him as well as fraud, because fraudsters are the tools of inferior forces, hence the tools of power, materialistic worship and destruction.
Why doesn’t he sell his knowledge?
Would this damage his karma?
Did Jesus or Buddha take money for their teachings, and if not, would it be respectful towards those great personalities to sell their teachings for pure self-interest?
He promotes school with his work.
He doesn’t take money from his scholars.
He doesn’t make business out of spiritual science!
He also doesn’t sell knowledge and insights of others!
He answers your questions by showing you how you can find the answer all by yourself!
Actually, how could you otherwise be sure that his answer is the right answer?
Is it of any use getting an answer which we cannot understand, neither physically nor mentally, and when we don’t know how he got his insight and don’t learn how we can get this insight, too?
He doesn’t want us to believe gullibly!
He won’t shirk any question!
He wants us to elaborate our answers inside of us and on our own!
His love for us is perceptible, even then, when he asks us unpleasant questions – because it often happens that the truth sounds unpleasant to us – but in return you may ask him all kind of questions, also critical ones, and you will never be judged but always taken seriously.
He is reluctant to fanatism!
He won’t prescribe you regulations but he loves to give you tips!
He respects the free-will of his scholars!
He’s not a man of cult, but a man of truth!
He doesn’t impose himself and he never runs away!
He wants us to ask questions, yes, ask questions like a small unencumbered child!
Why does he want us to ask questions? What will happen to us when we quit asking questions?
Why do we too often desire to get answers to our thoughts which have nothing to do with spiritual doctrines?
Is it therefore possible that we often do not understand the orientations?
He doesn’t cheat his scholars by alleged knowledge, alleged insight, and he doesn’t woo them because people woo him!
He is not a sect and he won’t ever found a sect!
Why does sect mean belief or faith and not knowledge?
He would never entrust his knowledge to those who could make abuse of it!
Furthermore he would never endanger others of himself through his actions or allow that his scholars endanger themselves and others through their actions! And even less in case of material advantage instead of pure benevolence!
He won’t let himself being worshiped or proclaimed master or guru BECAUSE HE HIMSELF IS AN ETERNAL SCHOLAR!!!
